1. Who and what this policy covers
This policy applies to Sea Simulators at seasimulator.com and the games served through this domain. The team operating Sea Simulators handles enquiries at info@seasimulator.com. Other websites have their own privacy policies, even if related game code is also available there.
The current games can be played without registering an account or providing payment details. Visiting a website still involves network requests, and optional services such as analytics can process additional information as described below.
2. Game progress on your device
Sailing Life Simulator, Pirate Simulator and Ship Crew Simulator store progress and settings in browser storage. Other game settings and cached resources may also be stored locally so the games can run or remember a preference. Naval Combat Simulator and Naval Simulator do not save an unfinished encounter.
These browser saves are not an account or cloud-save service. You can remove them with your browser’s site-data controls, but doing so can permanently remove your progress. Site support cannot retrieve a local save that is no longer present on your device.
3. Hosting, request logs and security
The website uses VPS hosting. Loading a page or game can expose your IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or user-agent information, response status and referring page to the infrastructure handling the request. Server logs help operate the site, diagnose errors and investigate abuse. Avoid putting sensitive information in URLs you send us.
Where Cloudflare is enabled for DNS, delivery, caching or security, its role and the information it receives depend on the enabled service. Traffic passing through Cloudflare may involve IP addresses, routing information and security signals; some protection features may use necessary cookies or challenge data. This notice does not assert that every Cloudflare product or cookie is active on every visit.
See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy and its cookie documentation for provider information. Cloudflare and a hosting provider do not operate the Sea Simulators games merely by supplying infrastructure.
4. Google Analytics
The production site includes Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and improve the website. When the analytics script runs, it can send page-view and interaction information, page and referrer URLs, browser/device attributes and identifiers to Google. Analytics can use cookies or browser identifiers. Our website integration measures visits; it is not a cloud backup of your game progress.
We do not ask you to include your name, email address or sensitive information in analytics. Google’s processing is also described in Google’s Privacy Policy and Google Analytics data safeguards. You can use browser tracking protection, block analytics requests, or use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on where supported. Blocking analytics does not change the game rules or require an account to play.
5. Information you choose to send
If you email us, we receive the sender address, message, attachments and other details you choose to provide. We use this information to respond, investigate the issue, manage a rights request and keep an appropriate record of the correspondence.
Send only necessary information. Do not send passwords, payment data, private keys, identity documents or another person’s sensitive information through an ordinary support email. If verification is needed for a particular request, we will seek a proportionate method rather than asking for unrelated data.
6. Purposes and recipients
We use information to deliver the website, maintain security, diagnose errors, understand use, respond to enquiries and meet applicable obligations. Providers involved in hosting, network protection, analytics and email may process information to supply their services. Information may also need to be disclosed where legally required or necessary to address a legitimate security or rights issue.
These purposes are distinct from selling a database of game saves or contact messages. The current site does not offer such a sale. Information submitted to an external website is handled under that website’s policy. We do not promise that a provider’s processing takes place only in your country.
7. Retention and security
Local game data remains subject to your browser’s storage controls and storage limits. Server logs, analytics records and email correspondence have different operational needs and provider settings; there is no single retention period for all of them. We aim to keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it is processed, including security, legal requirements and resolving requests.
We use HTTPS for the public site and reasonable measures appropriate to running it. No internet service or storage method is risk-free, and we cannot guarantee absolute security or recoverability. Contact us privately if you suspect a security issue.
8. Your choices and requests
You can stop using the site, adjust browser storage and tracking controls, block analytics, and contact us about personal information you have provided. Clearing local storage is separate from blocking analytics and can delete saved games.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of personal information, object to certain processing, withdraw consent where it is the basis of processing, request portability, or complain to a competent authority. We will assess requests under applicable law and may need enough information to verify that the request concerns you. We cannot identify a local browser save that was never sent to us merely from your email address.
Send a request to info@seasimulator.com with the subject “Privacy request”. Explain the relevant interaction and the action you are requesting, without including unnecessary sensitive data.
9. Children and family use
The website is a general-audience game collection with fictional nautical, pirate and combat themes. Parents and guardians should supervise use as appropriate and discourage children from sending personal information in support messages. If you believe a child has sent us information that should not have been collected, contact us with enough detail to investigate and address it under applicable law.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when features, infrastructure or data practices change. The date on this page identifies the latest revision. A policy revision does not itself authorize a new use of your information where consent or another legal requirement must first be satisfied.
For questions, contact us. You can also read the Terms of Use and Disclaimer to understand the intended entertainment use and limitations of the games.
